Cydney Uffindell-Phillips is a British-Canadian director, choreographer and movement coach. Associate Director credits include The Royal Hunt of the Sun (Parco, Tokyo), The Snow Queen (Creation Theatre), The Wedding Singer (UK Tour and Daegu Festival), and Every Good Boy Deserves Favour (Assistant Director, Parco, Tokyo). Directing credits include Pippin (Institute of Arts Barcelona) and productions for Arts Umbrella, Vancouver: As You Like It, Newsies Jr., Alice by Heart and The Old Man and the Old Moon. As choreographer/movement director, credits include Carmen (Vancouver Opera); Macbeth (National Theatre UK Tour); productions at Theatre by the Lake, English Theatre Frankfurt, BBC Proms, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, and Nottingham Playhouse; plus wonder.land (National Theatre/Théâtre du Châtelet) and Cabaret (UK Tour) as Associate Choreographer. Her film work includes London Road (Associate Choreographer), whose choreography received the 2017 Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Choreography in a Feature Film.
